Sardines on Toast

Sardines on Toast: Obviously a classic but a bit forgotten sadly, simple and mega-fast, and real healthy!!!  The secret must be to use the best ingredients so Fish4Ever and a really good bread, brown or white, chunky and ‘farmy’ should do the trick (or a gluten free alternative).

Fish4Ever Lemon and Olive Oil Sardines
Choice of herbs (see method)

Fish4Ever Sardines in Tomato Sauce
Lemon (juice)
Ground black pepper
Tabasco Sauce


  1. If using the lemon and olive oil sardines, everything is done for you! Tasty with  herbs, for example tarragon, chives or parsley.
  2. Alternatively spice and funk up the tomato sauce sardines with a quick squeeze of lemon, ground black pepper, a dash of Tabasco and two teaspoons of vodka!
